Well, it seems like only yesterday that we entered our first lockdown. Suddenly a year later we are waiting with anticipation as one restriction after another slowly gets lifted to release us from our second.
For those of you who were waiting to tie the knot with the one you love though, it was a totally different situation. After a rollercoaster year of postponing and having to cancel wedding celebrations due to Government guidelines the good news is they will finally be allowed to happen again soon.
From March 29th marriages can take place, and six people (including the couple) can attend.
From April 12th (at the earliest) up to 15 people will be able to attend a wedding ceremony and reception.
From 17th May (at the earliest) up to 30 allowed at ceremony and reception.
Finally by the end of June the government will aim to remove all limits on social contact including wedding restrictions.
This is welcome news for those of you who were waiting to get married and also for those wishing to attend the marriage of a loved one.
We say roll on July... There's nothing like a good wedding to put a spring in your step.
It's not always easy to show someone you care when you are unable to be with them in person but one other way is by giving the perfect gift.
Here at Thoughts That Count let us prepare a unique wedding present, so that you can be the guest who gives that gift to remember.
